FASHION DETAILS

So recently I've been crazy busy trying to get as much uni work done as possible! About 6 weeks ago now we got our brief, entitled "Details". Now if I'm completely honest it took me a little while to get into it, I began in my usual style of drawing elements of garments that I liked, particularly looking at embellishment and embroidery, but nothing was grabbing me.

After speaking to my tutor he suggested adding a kind of 'sporty' element and mixing it with these beautiful delicate drawings. I must admit I was instantly inspired and began taking photos of what I was wearing: 

As soon as I get chance to scan some images of my drawings and collages I've done I will upload them :)

I started this blog a little while back, it lasted about 2 months and I gave up.

However, I'm about to start my second year at uni, and I'm determined to give it another shot.

I've deleted all previous posts to completely wipe the slate clean!

So, I guess another little intro is needed..

 

I'm EMMABSLY aka Emma Beasley,

20 years old and about to go into my second year at Middlesex University.

I study Fashion Textiles, which will be the main theme of this blog!

Hopefully it will be abit of a mix of things, some outfit posts (just need to persuade one of my flatmates to be my photographer!) some work (when I actually get round to doing some) and some general rambling (which I seem to be best at.)
